Elite Cloud x GCP Solution

EliteCloud implemented an event-driven architecture on Google Cloud to automate the summarization of product descriptions. The solution is designed to be highly scalable, secure, and cost-effective, seamlessly integrating with their existing e-commerce platform.

Event Trigger

When a new product is added or an existing product's description is updated in Aization's primary Cloud SQL database, an event is triggered and a message containing the product ID is sent to a Cloud Pub/Sub topic.

Serverless Processing

A Cloud Function subscribed to the Pub/Sub topic is automatically invoked. This function retrieves the full product description from the Cloud SQL database.

AI Summarization

The Cloud Function makes a secure API call to a Vertex AI endpoint hosting the Gemini 2.0 Flash model, passing the full text as the input prompt.

Data Storage

Gemini 2.0 Flash processes the text and returns a concise, high-quality summary in near real-time. The Cloud Function then writes this generated summary back into the appropriate field in the Cloud SQL database.

Customer-Facing Display

Aization's e-commerce frontend, running on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), fetches the product details, including the new AI-generated summary, and displays it to the customer, enhancing the Browse experience without impacting page load times.
